The StoryWalk® incorporates children’s literature
into the great outdoors! This is a “self-guided”
experience for families to meander along short trails
with stopping points along the way. At these points,
one or two pages of a story book will be posted for
reading. As the hike progresses along the trail, the
story line reveals itself! Each book will remain on the
trail for approximately 2 months. This is a
year-round program that promotes the development
of physical fitness and literacy skills!
