The 11th Annual Arts Festival produced by Arts in Bartlett is in Bartlett Park will be June 29-30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The juried arts festival offers the work of returning and new artists in a wide range of 2-D and 3-D media, including paintings, photography, fiber, sculpture, glass, jewelry, wood and more. The deadline for artist applications is April 1, available on the 2013 Arts Festival page of www.artsinbartlett.org.
The entertainment stage will feature local and area musicians and dance on both days. Food vendors and a wine/beer tent will provide refreshments. The children’s art activities in the Gazebo will be provided by Color My World Art Studio. Other events include drumming circles and henna art in the World Tent. A special "kids only" tent is for children shoppers who can purchase art priced at $1 to $5 in the Young Art Appreciators (YAA) tent. Proceeds will go toward Arts in Bartlett scholarships and other arts education programs.
Sponsorships are now available to help support the Arts Festival. A pull-out insert on the Arts Festival in the Bartlett Examiner will be delivered to 11,000 homes on Wednesday, June 26. More information on ads and sponsorships can be downloaded from www.artsinbartlett.org on the 2013 Arts Festival page. Sponsorships are due by May 1.
