The Forest Resource Education Center (FREC) is set on 660 acres in the Pinelands in Jackson, NJ. The FREC provides free interpretive programs to school groups from Pre-K to college. The Toms River runs through the property providing fishing opportunities to those licensed. Bring a bike or a horse to ride on our sand trails or just take a liesurely hike. The NJ Forest Nursery grows seedling here for reforestation across the state.
