St. Edward's University
More than a century ago, just south of the Colorado River on a farm nestled in the Texas Hill Country, Father Edward Sorin of the Congregation of Holy Cross laid the foundation for St. Edward’s University.
The university’s legacy is inherited from the Congregation of Holy Cross, whose members defined the mission and committed the university to a values-based liberal arts education, preparation for careers and service to the community.
