With approximately 450,000 objects in the collection, there's always something new on view. The MFA also offers an ongoing schedule of special exhibitions and daily activities including gallery talks, films, concerts, artist lectures, and family programs. Stay as long as you like and see just what you want, from an Impressionist painting to a 5,000 year-old mummy to a current film.

Tips

Visitors now have three parking options when visiting the Museum:
the Huntington Lot, the Fenway Lot, and the Museum Road Garage, all of which have entrances on Museum Road. The parking lots offer close and convenient parking to the Huntington Avenue and State Street Corporation Fenway entrances to the MFA. There is also limited street parking surrounding the Museum. Valet parking is available for an additional $3 fee at the State Street Corporation Fenway Entrance during Museum hours. There is no additional valet charge for vehicles with disability plates or placards.
