Join the Oakland Zoo Creek Keepers! Come to the Arroyo Viejo Creek at the Oakland Zoo and experience the local habitat, while helping it thrive. Grab your gardening gloves and help clean up the creek We will work in rain or shine, so come prepared! Bring sun block, sun glasses, hats, and dress in layers! Wear shoes that can get dirty. Shoes must be close-toed. Don't forget your water and snacks. Gloves and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. One adult chaperone is required for every 4 youth volunteers, 13 years of age and younger. One adult chaperone is required for every 8 youth volunteers between 14 - 18 years of age.
