Pioneer Square is a 20 block section of Seattle. The Victorian Romanesque architecture of the area offers over 30 art galleries, 200 independently owned shops, and a wide variety of restaurants and coffee shops.
The district has an annual community celebration and benefit in November.

I have always liked the charm of this part of the city. It's so fun just to explore the eclectic shops. There are a couple of vintage stores around there that I love.
On the downside, you might have to fend off a couple of homeless people. They also enjoy hanging out down here.
