The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, architecturally inspired by the Temple of Amon at Karnak, houses the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts on exhibit in the western United States -- including objects from pre dynastic times through Egypt's early Islamic era.
Papyrus-lined paths lead visitors past walls carved with hieroglyphs, clustered lotus columns, elaborate fountains, and colossal statues of Egyptian gods.
Explore Ancient Egypt's fascinating view of the afterlife through the extensive collection of human and animal mummies, canopic jars, and detailed funerary boats and models. Discover colorful and precious jewelry, pre dynastic pottery, glass and alabaster vessels, bronze tools, sculpture, and Coptic textiles.

For those studying Ancient Egypt, this museum is the next best thing to flying to Cairo. The architecture brings you back in time- everything from the outside facade to the inside marble. The exhibits are everything you could want: mummies, a replica of a tomb, ancient artifacts and good descriptions. The Rosicrucians are actually an active religion that still practices the worship of ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses, but there is no discernible worship like that in the museum.
