The NewHolly branch of the Seattle Public Library system. The 4,000-square-foot branch is part of the NewHolly Neighborhood Campus, which was designed using new urbanism concepts to enliven the neighborhood. The branch is housed within a "Campus of Learners" that includes a high school tutoring program, a jobs center, a branch of South Seattle Community College, child care centers and more.
In addition to providing excellent reference services, the NewHolly Branch features a collection of more than 20,000 items, including a wide variety of books, videos, newspapers, and magazines in different languages.
The branch offers materials on English as a Second Language, jobs, education, and how to attain citizenship. The branch also has a selection of CDs, videos, books on tape/CD, magazines, and large-print materials. Patrons have access to 11 computers for the public.
The branch has a variety of programs for children and teens throughout the year. Toddler and preschool story times are held on a regular basis. Computer classes are offered in a computer lab throughout the year.
