The Pence Gallery's mission is to serve the community through offering high caliber art exhibits and educational programs for visitors of all ages.
Education in the visual arts is one of the main purposes of the Pence Gallery. Frequent lectures given by the exhibiting guest artists or curator is an important part of each show. The Gallery also offers an Art Lecture Series for adults, provides annual Art Smart and KidsCreate programs for children, and provides a Curatorial Fellowship for university students.
