The KidZone Museum is a children's museum serving Truckee, California, and the Lake Tahoe Basin.

Their goal is to foster early childhood development by encouraging children to explore, discover and learn through play. We provide children with opportunities to choose their own interests and learn at their own pace. KidZone's child-centered learning exhibits, classes, and camps focus on: Art,Science & Health,Culture & History, Environment.

The featured exhibits, which change periodically, provide learning opportunities for families with children up to age seven, through fun interactive repeat play activities.

We stopped by this place for about an hour and a half on our way home from Tahoe...was awesome! tired the kids out and they slept like babies for almost the whole ride back to San Francisco.
