The Arboretum is a 127- acre botanical garden and historical site jointly operated by the Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation and the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation.

What a wonderful place! I took my 4 year-old's today for a play date and we had a great time. We were there almost 3 hours and barely covered 1/2 of the grounds. The turtle pond was fun and there are just so many plants and flowers and trees to admire. My girls loved the peacocks the most though; they are EVERYWHERE! I liked that we could pack our own snacks and lunches and bring them in. You just have to eat in the designated areas. A great day! We'll be back for sure.
