The Lynnwood Recreation Center hosts 3 pools (lap pool, wading pool, and hydrotherapy hot tub), a dry sauna, racquetball & wallyball courts, and an exercise weight room for leisure and fitness activities. Built in 1977, this multi-use facility is unique in that it is both an indoor and outdoor facility with a canvas rooftop that comes off each summer in June and goes back on in September.
The 25-yard pool has a diving board, water slide and rope swing. There’s also a wading pool with tiled sea creatures on the floor. The pool has daily afternoon swim sessions including special sessions for preschoolers and families.
