The Marietta Museum of History is committed to preserving the history of Marietta and Cobb County by providing an educational, enlightening, and engaging experience for all visitors.
A Few Facts
The Marietta Museum of History has entertained over 50,000 visitors from every state in the union and all over the world since 2000.
The Education Program at the Marietta Museum of History accommodates school tours year round. We have hosted over 10,000 school children through field trips since 2000. Click here to see our educational resources for teachers.
The museum has an outreach program that allows staff to go out to schools, churches, libraries, assisted living facilities and other locations to bring history to interested groups.
The Marietta Museum of History has provided mentoring for the start of museums by Lockheed, the Strand, Zion Church , the Marietta High School Foundation, the Marietta City Fire and Police Departments, and Turner Chapel.
