Juanita Bay Park offers many opportunities to view a variety of wildlife. The 110-acre park provides habitat for songbirds, waterfowl, raptors, shorebirds, amphibians, turtles, beavers and other small mammals. Interpretive signs are located throughout the park for self-guided tours. Juanita Bay Park features paved trails and several boardwalks.
In 2009 some major changes are coming to Juanita Bay Park. The City of Kirkland, with the help of Seattle Urban Nature (SUN) and EarthCorps is embarking on a multi-year habitat restoration project.
