Artisan Center Theater provides the Metroplex with quality theater for all ages. Many shows chosen are geared toward the entire family; we produce musicals, comedies and family dramas that are accessible, entertaining and sometimes even educational.
Artisan Center Theater came into being because of one person's dream to make family friendly theater-in- the-round accessible to both actors and patrons alike in the DFW area. As that person told others about that dream, they too joined in to help make that dream a reality. When it came to naming the theater, many names were considered, then tabled. Artisan had staying power - it embodied everything in that original dream. A search of definitions was made and it was confirmed ... the perfect name for the theater.
